Release Date Rumors


Discussion about release date of Blizzard's Next Gen MMO (Rumors,opinions e.t.c)

Where are these rumors floating around? I haven't seen any about alpha or 2013 release date :p

My own personal guess on a release date, is that they will aim for it to be launched 2014, 10 years after WoW.

Yeah it will be a good year after they announce what the new mmo is before proper testing starts. So lets say 1 - 1.5 year till announcement the +1 year till some alpha possibly beta testing the another year for release. that's conservative estimate of 3.5 years . but what do I know lol im a random nobody Lets hope its shorter then that lol

Rob Pardo said on BlizzCon 2010 live streaming that the game is currently on the stage of prototyping and the employees from other divisions are testing it internally. So, indeed a long way to go.

My guess is announced 2012, alpha 2016, beta and release 2017

Oh and hi to anyone from the future who is looking back on what people predicted for this game. Was I close?! Damn didn't think so

I expect the release for 2013/2014,but Blizzard need to show something this year

It will go gold in late 2012... in time for xmas. We will see beta invites begin late 2011, with open beta in fall of 2012.
